Start with the brewer you already use

Write down whether your brewer uses whole beans, ground coffee, capsules or another format. Read its instructions for any size or format requirements. For ground coffee, check the grind option offered for the exact product rather than assuming every bag is suitable for every brewer.

Decide how much you expect to use before the next order. A larger package can lower the cost per unit while increasing the amount you need to store and use. Compare a realistic quantity rather than adding products solely to reach a promotion threshold.

Compare package sizes consistently
